Purdy Insurance Agency, Inc was founded in 1922 by H.L. Purdy. His son, Truman H. Purdy, joined him in the 1940s after serving his country in WWII. Under Truman's leadership, the agency experienced tremendous growth as its footprint grew throughout the Greater Susquehanna Valley and beyond. After Truman's passing in 1991, his sons, Chris, Craig and Bill Purdy, took the reins and, to this day continue to grow this successful company through their commitment to service and the community. Since 2002, the fourth generation has joined the firm to ensure the continued success of their clients and the family business through their commitment to service.
